OCONOMOWOC CHAMBER ORCHESTRA

The Oconomowoc Chamber Orchestra brings together high caliber musicians, both local and regional, in a semi-professional setting, to perform vital, varied and engaging concerts for our community.

2017 – 18
The OCO hosted special guests Crawford & Georgia Gates (Composer of the Fanfare for Lake Country) in Oconomowoc from November 2nd – 5th. They were on hand to celebrate the release the new Fanfare for Lake Country Instrumental Arrangements for Bb (clarinet and trumpet), F (horn) and Eb instruments, and hear the audio tracks of the Theme, Prelude and full Fanfare recordings featuring the ‘Thunis’ Stradivarius. We welcomed musicians from the Rockford IL Symphony, the Beloit/Janesville Symphony and musicians from around the state who shared information, stories and photos with the Gates and for a project that is documenting Crawford’s remarkable accomplishments and life in music.
