The Score Came Second….
What came first?? It’s a good question! This series takes a look at the parameters that contribute to why and how music was written.
We’ll highlight specific composers and span their lifework.
Are you ready to hear great music - both recorded and in live performance, see where the composers lived and worked, and learn more about them?
Each session will feature musical guests and live performance! Guests this season include: Sharon Goodrum, piano; Sara Kurek, violin; Scott Sleider, luthier; Kari Kraenzler, Flute; Sally Schwarz, Soprano; Dan Roberdeau, Clarinet; Karen Bechtel, cello; Robert and Suzanne Ignaszak, viola/violin; Indra Brusibardis, Soprano.
This year, we are happy to announce a partnership with the Life Enrichment Center of Oconomowoc. The events take place in the Roehl Auditorium.
